BREWERS MILLS, ONTARIO

Craftsmanship built on experience.

Andy Brown began working professionally in the trade in 2002 and established Brown's Custom Carpentry in 2007. After relocating to Brewers Mills, the business became Brewers Mills Woodworking & Lumber in 2023. Today the shop combines custom cabinetmaking, furniture making, architectural woodworking and its own sawmilling operation.

Andy is a licensed General Carpenter, with a particular interest in local wood, traditional construction and work that respects the history of a building or object.

“Good wood has a story.
My job is to help it continue.”

FROM LOG TO FINISHED PIECE

Local trees can become part of the finished project.

We mill local timber ourselves when a project calls for it—including trees from a client's own property—then carry that material through drying, preparation, cabinetmaking and final installation. Cedar, pine, maple, ash, oak, birch, cherry and other local hardwoods are regularly milled and used.
